Automatic Comfort Systems is a small, Independent Lennox dealership owned and run by John Nemetsky since 1990.  Matt Heine joined our team in 2004 and Patty joined us in 2013.  We all do our best to make sure that our customers get the best service and pricing  possible for every job we're hired to do, whether big or small.

Why Choose Us?

Basically, we do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay.

We clean and service working equipment carefully and thoroughly to keep it running at peak efficiency and save you money.

We repair faulty equipment as quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively as possible and let you know, in advance, the cost of the repair.  If the needed repairs are extensive, we'll let you know our estimate as to the remaining life of the equipment before proceeding. You will also be provided with firm costs of replacement options so that you can make an informed decision.  It is your decision and we will provide all the information at our disposal to help you make it.  We won't push you in either direction or try to up-sell.

When replacement is the only option, we will provide you with "good, better, best" options with firm written costs.  Our proposals include equipment installation, ductwork fabrication & modification, venting, removal and disposal of old equipment, refrigerant reclaimation, sales tax, freight and labor.  No add-ons, no surprises, no "That wasn't included."

About Us.

John was raised in Zeigler and graduated from Southern Illinois University.  After graduation he worked for 10 years designing heating and air conditioning systems for St. Louis area hospitals and medical research facilities before returning to Illinois.  He started Automatic Comfort Systems in 1982, joined the Lennox team in 1990 and has been running the business here ever since.

Matt was raised in Murphysboro and graduated from John A. Logan with a degree in Applied Science and joined the company in 2004.

Together, John and Matt have over 40 years of experience in the service, repair and installation of heating and cooling equipment.   They have a 1200 sf shop with all of the equipment & tools necessary to fabricate custom duct work and make repairs to older parts which are no longer available.

Patty joined the team in 2013 and runs our office employing the latest technology to make contacting us as easy as possible.  She is in the office each day from 8:00 to 4:00 and is happy to help you schedule maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
